As much fun as I’ve been having bagging beautiful/awesome peaks in the Hunter’s Access area, it’s definitely been bittersweet, knowing that I will be leaving Tubac in the near future. Today I set out to bag the last of the 8 named peaks that are readily accessed [under 10 mile RT hike] from the Hunter’s Access area / FR 684. Although it was the shortest, Map Edge proved to be the hands down most fun, as I detailed in the Description. I’m going to miss this area very much, but it was a pleasant surprise to finally drive out with a sense of peace and accomplishment instead of a heavy heart.
