| no partners | | Quick morning jaunt on the short gorge trail along the federally designated Wild and Scenic upper Rogue River. (Yes, all of Oregon's rivers are named after breweries -- or is it the other way around? )
Downstream gauge makes me think it was running about twice normal flow with spring snowmelt - probably in the neighborhood of 2000 cfs.
Had to get back up to Crater Lake by 10am and the 6" of snow overnight was going to make that a longer drive than desired, so I skipped the 3+ miles downstream to the Natural Bridge. Next time... |
