Last hike of the camping trip before coming back to find that the Quar was in full effect, that my duplexmate had COVID, that our lives were going to actually be upturned. The hike through the canyon was great - perfect weather and except for encountering a family at the end I had it all to myself. Lots of folks camping near the trailhead though, a huge zoo. I didn't make it all the way through the Swell because I had set a solid turnaround time for myself. The dogs had a blast, and we still had decent mileage under us by the end of the day despite it being a more mellow day than our trip up Old Woman the day before.

Great time exploring. Cold and rainy a couple days ago. Summer arrived today, 90. This canyon has little shade except in the evening. Still had a blast. No one else around. The pictograms were definitely a surprise. Don't quit looking.
