First hike in RMNP. Despite its name, there were no bears on this hike. However, there were lots of elk. I started at the Cub Lake TH and went clockwise along the western edge of Moraine Park. The hike then heads slowly uphill for a bit. If you time it just right you'll get outstanding views of the mountains reflecting off of Cub Lake in the morning sun. There was some decent fall foliage on the west side of the lake. The trail then dropped down to The Pool and followed the Big Thompson River through a scenic gorge back to the parking area. I don't know if I would call this a "must do" hike, but it is a good introduction to what RMNP has to offer.
