Parked at Long Canyon Trailhead, hiked out Chuckwagon Trail then dropped into wash going upstream, turned into next side wash to right and followed up to Chuckwagon Trail again, then turned off nearest the jeep road and continued across jeep road and up a small wash to the base of the first ascent, at top of ascent make left on faint trail until you see faint climbers trail to your right, stay on climbers trail to the small saddle on ridge (into the Coconino Sandstone) with view of Devil's Bridge, follow brushy ledge southeast until it ends then climb one ledge up(crux), follow ledge southeast until there is an obvious break in the cliffs going north, ascend to top of ridge then follow to the summit.
The crux is a 6 feet high mantle move between ledges everything else is class 4 or less. |
