| no partners | | While in Solvenia, we did a short 1.5 mile hike up to the Savica Waterfall (called Slap Savica in Slovenian), near Bohinj. Bohinj is located about 16 miles WSW of Bled. This magnificent waterfall is actually two in one, in the form of an “A”. The tallest is 78 meters and the shortest is 25 meters. The flows originate in the Triglav National Park from karst terrain. My track is a little screwy, but the up part is correct. Lots of cliffs along the trail likely affected the accuracy of my gps. The track should help you find the parking area, but you won’t need any help to stay on the well-used trail. |
