I was looking for a local hike in Cabo and saw that Nick had done this one with the family. We were staying 30 minutes out but Nick did it so I was in! Unique hike with Enrique and a variety of dogs. We got there early and no one was there so we walked back to town to use the bathrooms. We were back by 8 and people were lining up. It's a dog training place and around 8am people started dropping dogs off until about 8:15 when Enrique let us in. He leads the hike every morning except Saturday, at 8:15am. About 30 people today. He gives a history lesson before the hike then lets a bunch of dogs out of kennels to go with us. 2 dogs acting up and didn't get to go. He gives another lesson half way up the mountain. Second half up is a little steep as is the first half down. The hike is only a 1.25 miles according to Route Scout. The extra mile is the walk from town and back. It was a nice little workout. Enrique, the history lesson and the dogs make it a fun little outing. The views from up top are the icing on the cake! Thanks to LilD, Jason, and Antonia for joining me! like HAZ, they rock!
