| no partners | | Got my new hiking shoes dusty this morning hiking my hometown trail. The Westside trail via Mary Lake Trail in Redding Ca. Is the trail I have been hiking for years til I moved to Arizona. It was a great day to hike, partly. cloudy and cool. Some bikers past me and a few walkers towards the end of my walk. This trail is a great trail that was devastated in the Carr fire last year. One way to look at the devastation Of a fire is that it cleaned up the underbrush and made the views better-and killed most of the poison oak!! I’m not a biker but this is a great trail To ride on which made me sort of wish I had a bike. It was good to visit my old stomping grounds and have a leisurely walk. |
