Straight up touristing! Left Steve and Krista back at the house with Otto-otto-otto hoping for an easy visit. Must've waited 45 minutes to at the entrance station. And that was WITH a pass. Having never been here, I was absolutely unprepared for the majestic mountain views from here. Wow. Wow. Wow! Add the Olympics to places I need to spend more time.

Had to get back to the lake house for fresh fish on the grill, but took a few minutes to explore the short climb up the high ridge trail to Sunrise Point. Still plenty of snow up there and tough to find a spot to park. This would be the GRCA equivalent of the Rim Trail between BA and the visitor center parking lot. I sucked it up and tolerated a few minutes of it just for the views. There's a reason this place is a national park.
