| no partners | | | Carolyn made a quasi loop out of the Horse Lake and PCT trails out of the Elk Lake Trailhead. We went out on Horse lake a ways then came back on the PCT and Island Lakes Trail. We met a couple of PCT thru hikers along the way and then gave them a lift into Bend after the hike so they could re-supply. (I'm hoping for some good Karma here- smile.) A quick 5.2 miles with 460 feet of AEG in an hour and 45 minutes. |
