This was day 3 of peakbagging in the Kingman area, and we saved a short but sweet hike for last.

Even though this peak is not far outside of Kingman, it doesn't appear to be hiked very often. The summit register log goes back to 1988, which is one of the oldest that I have seen.

The hike is totally off-trail, but it wasn't nearly as brushy as I thought that it might be.

There was a bit of rock scrambling on the hike, but there was nothing too difficult.

At the summit we saw the benchmark, 2 reference marks, and some height-of-light remnants. There is supposed to be an azimuth mark, but I did not locate it. Where is @FLYING_FLIVER when you need him?...lol

I enjoyed this short hike -- there were nice views at the summit and the off-trail turned out not to be a big deal.

We never saw any other hikers. In fact, we did 4 hikes over 3 days in the area and never saw anyone.

After the hike we had some post-hike grub at Rutherford's 66 Family Diner in Kingman -- I recommend it and I'll go there again for breakfast the next time that I am in Kingman.
