This hike is up the west fork of rock creek. The trail is easy to follow and since there are mountains on both the east and west it gets more shade than most of the other hikes in this area. We didn't notice any Indian ruins which was surprising, since the other hikes in the area have lots. However their does seem to be a bit more of wildflowers on this hike than the others.
Not a bad hike, but I would recommend doing the Sand Trail and the East Rock Creek hikes before doing this one since they have ruins, and have some nicer views of the area. |
