Did this walk with my Dad this morning starting around 8:40 am. We parked in the lot West of North road near the intersection of the Blair Pathway. We walked Southwest, crossing a bridge over the Gordon river and into Baker park. Baker park had a small hill with a spiral path leading up. There were also stairs that could be taken up/down from the Southeast and North sides. We took the spiral path up and the stairs down and walked around the park. We saw a boat launch area, some exercise stations, seating areas, picnic areas, a BBQ grill area near the bridge, boat docks on the North side of the bridge, and a dog park. After walking around Baker park, we walked back to the parking area, continued North on Blair Pathway. Continuing North from the Blair Pathway, there was a path that followed a fence line bordering the Naples Airport. This is about where my Dad turned around. I continued North through the Gordon River Greenway Trail and boardwalk to the North parking area where my Dad picked me up. There were a few shady areas near the North end but that didn't matter. The weather was perfect.

Did this solo hike starting at 12:15 pm, while the temp was roughly 80 at this time. The high temp on this day was 81. There were some shady areas on the boardwalk and I didn't feel uncomfortable at any time during this hike. I walked a new trail section which was a primitive loop on the East side of the main trail that went through a wooded area. There really wasn't much shade in this area as the trees and plants were low to the ground. On one of the areas where the boardwalk crossed a stream, I saw a bird with a long curved orange colored beak that I believe was in the Ibis family, but I'm not completely sure.

I also continued along the trail further South than the last time I was here, which included the Blair Pathway which led to some paths going to Baker Park. I didn't have time to explore the Baker park area but I would like to go back and do that sometime.
