| no partners | | | Did this walk with my Dad this morning starting around 8:40 am. We parked in the lot West of North road near the intersection of the Blair Pathway. We walked Southwest, crossing a bridge over the Gordon river and into Baker park. Baker park had a small hill with a spiral path leading up. There were also stairs that could be taken up/down from the Southeast and North sides. We took the spiral path up and the stairs down and walked around the park. We saw a boat launch area, some exercise stations, seating areas, picnic areas, a BBQ grill area near the bridge, boat docks on the North side of the bridge, and a dog park. After walking around Baker park, we walked back to the parking area, continued North on Blair Pathway. Continuing North from the Blair Pathway, there was a path that followed a fence line bordering the Naples Airport. This is about where my Dad turned around. I continued North through the Gordon River Greenway Trail and boardwalk to the North parking area where my Dad picked me up. There were a few shady areas near the North end but that didn't matter. The weather was perfect. |
