Headed through the grasses to the base of the Hill and started up. There's a lot of random game / cattle trails heading in random directions around the mountain. More or less followed them up in a switchback type of way instead of just going straight up. Soon I reached the top where I was greeted to some views of Parks, AZ, and Government Hill. There was also a lot of strange, twisted lava rocks at the summit and mountain slopes. Found the geocache at the top, it was last found in 2020, so over five years ago. Then I headed back down, this time mostly following the fence line till I reached the road and my vehicle. |
