| | 5.7 | Sport | | | | | | ascend an arete | | | mt. lemmon is such a great place to climb, with plenty of areas for our ability
today we were going to try gumby wall, but couldn't find the correct gully, so we opted for barnum rock right next door
this was a good choice, as there were several nice 5.7 routes featuring good rock, plenty of hand and footholds, with each route different enough to entertain
we both led twin peaks, fowl play, memorial daze, ranger danger, and ann bay lee
i led beavis and toproped butthead as they share an anchor and i needed to practice cleaning on rappel
nice to have so many options in one small area and get back into some solid leading
nothing too stout at that grade, just pure fun
had el charro for dinner
thanks john, it's been a fun summer hitting mt. lemmon so often |
