The Deer Hill Trail is now open and easy to follow. The far northern part has some water damage. However, it is still easy to hike to the end.

I actually went in search of the Deer Hill Trail for some mountain biking, but when I got there it was closed due to flood damage. Big bummer, so rode around on the dirt road for just a little while before giving in and going back to camp. Earlier in the day I was practicing using clipless shoes/pedals, and had the tender hands to prove it. So I didn't mind too much going back to the climbers and hanging out with them for the day. Had a lot of laughs and enjoyed watching everyone else play on the rocks. Afterwards we made our ways over to Fratelli's for pizza and wings.. definitely hit the spot!

Stretched this into 15 miles for training run. Of course, as with every run since moving back to Arizona, I got killed and didn't quite get all of it. Nothing special about this trail.
