This was just a quick afternoon hike after completing the Carthew-Alderson Trail and bagging Mount Alderson. The trail is in great shape, with a pretty good grade, which helps with the gain in AEG. The lake was nice, but by Glacier and Wateron Lakes National Park standards, it was pretty average. The upper falls near the lake area probably the best attraction, however, they are more for viewing and not very easy to get a good picture of.

This hike is in Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, Canada. The park is a continuation of Glacier NP. We hiked just beyond the falls so we could get 4 miles out of this hike. We walked to the trailhead from the town of Waterton Village.
