Hiked to Pup Creek Falls and back via the Indian Henry Trailhead. Temp around 40 degrees, very wet trail- but I managed to hike it during a break between the storms. Could see fresh snow coating the hills to the north of the trail, probably only 1,000 to 1,500 feet higher in elevation. The trail itself is pretty boring, but it made for a nice quick hike and the falls were flowing really well (my first visit several years ago was disappointing).

Nice run from Fish Creek Trailhead up to Pup Falls and back. Light rain off and on, nice breeze, weather in the 60s. It didn't seem much rockier than the trails I am used to running, but my feet were really hurting by the time I finished.

A chilly start but things warmed up nicely. No one at the trail head when we arrived and there wasn't much traffic on the road along the other side of the river. About two miles in though sounded like someone was doing target practice on the other side of the river which was a little un-nerving. Pup Creek Falls was beautiful. We had planned to continue on to the narrows but Pup Creek was too high to use the stepping stones and we didn't feel like wading. Flowers are starting to come around. Not a bad March hike! Great views of Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens on the way home. Stopped at a view point along I-205 for a nice shot. And the wife got another nice shot going over the bridge into Vancouver.
