| no partners | | My cousin and I ended up spending the next two nights at Deschutes River State Park. Its a really nice park as long as you can handle all the Canadian Geese poop. The goslings where adorable. We hiked the River trail to the Ferry Springs Trail then back. We also added 1.5 miles on the Rock Pile Trail, that is across the river. It was a nice cool down hike after Hood. |

| no partners | | Partly cloudy, temps in the 50s/60s, very windy. Cherry blossoms in full bloom. We were planning on turning around at the Harris Homestead, but Tim tore the side wall on his rear tire a little ways before the homestead. We fixed the tire and headed back before we risked another flat. |

| no partners | | Nice spring day with temps in the upper 50s/low 60s and mostly clear skies. Headed south on the Deschutes River trail with no real destination in mind. Spent the first hour along the fisherman's path that follows right along the riverbank, but as it got progressively harder to follow I headed back up the hillside to the main trail and kept following it until I got tired. Only saw 4 people all day. Very windy on the hike back to the trailhead. Nice sunset on the ride home. |
