Walked part of the Eruption Loop, and the beginning of the Boundary Trail along Johnston Ridge. The entire drive up, the mountain was cloaked in clouds, and I was worried it was going to be a waste of time. The cloads dissipated as soon as we arrived, and stayed away for the hour we were there, giving us crystal clear views of Mt St Helens. The trails we walked on were, of course, very easy and provided great views of the mountain and surrounding areas. The clouds returned as we were leaving, so we lucked out on our timing.
