| no partners | | Spent an hour or so on a tOuR of Fort Stevens ... it's the only military facility on the US mainland to come under attack in WW2. It's also the end of the Lewis & Clark Trail, where Bill and Meriwether reached the Pacific at the mouth of the mighty Columbia. In retrospect, I could have spent a bit more time exploring the things here. While the weather here can be variable, we were treated to a beautiful day with temps near 70 which might be as perfect as it gets! |
