This is one of the top 10 hikes recommended in the Park. Goes past both Swan and Heron lakes and has great views of the Teton Range and Jackson Lake. Wife and I were running out of gas so turned around just short of the point. Gentle up and down's much of this hike is in the shade provided by trees.

Got an early start and did the entire Hermitage Point trail including Heron and Swan Lakes. Saw a deer and some geese, but no moose. Great views of Jackson Lake.
