While Mason Lake is the best lake you'll ever see, it's not bad and the views on the way up to the lake are definitely worth the effort. Wildflowers were really blooming and views of Mt. Rainier kept you going on the climb up. Bugs were out in force at the lake so I went back to the ridge and took my break while soaking in the view.
