Nikko's first backpack trip. He had good energy and decent leash manners. We saw lots of marmots (including pups!) below the pass. We camped in the bowl below the pass and visited the ridge for sunset and sunrise. Nikko was supposed to sleep in the vestible of the tent but he insisted on being at the foot instead. This went swimmingly until 4am, when he sat up and stared at me like he was ready to start the day. He finally settled again, squeezed beside me in my 1p tent, and I think he might have been getting cold.
