Hiked up to Cairn Basin via Mazama Trail then did a loop through Eden Park and returned. Not my favorite access point to the Timberline Trail as it goes through a long burnt section and felt longer than the Vista Ridge Trail. I was also a bit disappointed by Eden Park- it's okay, but not really worth the time to hike to when there are so many other more epic views just down trail in every other direction: Elk Cove, Dollar Lake, Barrett Spur, McNeil Point, etc...
