Starvation Ridge to Warren Lake Trail

Finally ticked off what I believe is the last major gorge hike that I hadn't done yet. Hiked up to Mt. Defiance- took the Defiance Trail uphill and the Starvation Ridge trail downhill. Included a bit of extra mileage and elevation change by making a detour over to Bear Lake before finally making it to the top of Mt. Defiance. On the way back, the defiance cutoff trail was closed due to "unsafe conditions" so I had to add a bit more mileage to my route there as well. GPS mileage was a bit truncated, actual route closer to 15.5 miles or so.

Fantastic big hike. Great views, lots of wild flowers. Mount Defiance is the highest peak along the Columbia gorge.
