Karen and I did a short hike while in KY to Natural Bridge State Park to see the fall leaf colors, which were outstanding! This is my goto place while visiting family, along with the magnificent Red River Gorge, a premier rock climbing and hiking area nearby. There is also one of the few via ferratas in the US just past the park entrance (Torrent Falls), which I've never done because they charge to do it ($45 per day!!).

The weekday crowd at Natural Bridge in the fall is very small. We virtually had the place to ourselves. Great day outside.
