Only a high in the low 70s today after the rains! Tug & I set out for Pleasant Mountain. There are several trails that you can take on this mountain, and 2 of them start within a couple miles of one another. You can take Bald Peak up and go down Overlook Ledges (or vice versa), and just walk the road a couple miles back to your car. I decided to take Bald Peak up, go down Overlook Ledges and then go back up and over. Seemed more fun than walking on a road. :D Bald Peak Trail gains about 1300' in the first mile, so it's a steep one! But once we got to the ridge & were walking along top of the mountain to the fire tower and over to the other trail to descend, the wind was kicking up nicely. Saw quite a few people on the trails for a Monday mid-day. The Overlook Ledges Trail is a little more scenic and much more gradual than the Bald Peak Trail. We got to see plenty of both since we went up and down both. :)

Mom made me wear my backpack today so she could keep up with me. Ha, I still showed her! :D
