Took a detour driving to Oregon from the Seattle area. The falls and trail can be accessed without entering the State park ($10). There is a turnout and parking about a half mile before the turn to the park. Falls are next to the road and the trail is across the road. Very pretty area. The trail was soft and kinda muddy so I didn't go too far. It has been raining quite a bit here lately.
