Took advantage of one of the few rain free days we are having to go for a nice easy stroll along the Clackamas River. Started on the south end trailhead and walked up the campground (which is now closed for the season). Didn't see anyone else the entire time.

I was about 2 weeks late for the fall foliage based on trip reports I found online, but it was still a beautiful hike. Temperature was in the 40s, but it was quite pleasant in the forest. When the clouds parted I could see the ridge line on the far side of the lake was coated with a fresh dusting of snow. Saw lots of Coral mushrooms and some Chantrelles along the way.
