| no partners | | Led 81 people (mostly out of towners) on the northern loop, clockwise direction. Took a crazy long time to move that many people two miles! We started just before sunset, so the last half of it was in the dark with headlamps. Around the turnoff to Pusch Peak we encountered a baby rattler that became a big deal to them (because most of them had never seen one before), and many of them spotted a small scorpion on the way out near the trailhead. |
