| no partners | | | This was an incredibly scenic hike and my first time on it. Went with my buddy Franco who does 100 mile bike rides so we had a great pace and he pushed hard that last mile which is a tough one! There was plenty of still water and even some trickling down a small waterfall about 1.5 to 2 miles from the window. I would have to check my track since I marked it as a waypoint. I collected some and increased my consumption so I definitely did not run out. Tried out my new supercat alcohol stove with heineken pot which is awesome by the way. Very few hikers compared to finger rock and Pima canyon which seemed odd to me because I liked this one better. Some snow in the upper reaches by the window but nothin you need to bring poles or special shoes for. The trail is in excellent shape and I am amazed at how much of it is just dirt trail with few rock sections. Very easy to navigate and I didn't need to check my gps aside from the constant "Good lord how long are these last two miles out of the canyon!". I would do this one again for sure. Oh and by the way the 7.5 hours is with an hour of cooking and half-sleeping on some rocks above and east of the window. So total travel time without that would have been 6.5. I figure I better include it because you GOTTA stop and hang out when you go all that way! |

| partners | | My first time on the south side of Pusch ridge. The scenery was great and I'm glad I got to meet more fellow hikers. Thanks to Juliachaos for keeping me on route , Cindyl for the sip of beer at the top and Nick for helping me eat all the snacks I brought. I'm ready to step off trail once season allows to ge to Table and Big Horn! |

| no partners | | | Met up with a fellow HAZ member for the first time. Good to make new hiking buddies! Hadn't been to Squaw Peak in years and I must say it's insanely busy these days. The view is beautiful as usual though. Especially at night! |

| no partners | | Trying out my new 60CSx for the first time and getting a workout. The trail was DARK tonight! Rolled my ankle once but didn't fall. I'm bound to take a dive sooner or later but I think I'm ready for it. |

| no partners | | | First time ever in the McDowells. It was getting late in the afternoon so I decided to take the 128th st route since it is shorter. Made it to Tom's Thumb just about 10 minute before sunset and it was incredible! Great view and a great hike. Just enough to get a good workout and plenty of stretches of trail to get a jogging pace going. The boulders seem a lot bigger when you actually stand next to them than from far on the trail. Next time in the mountains there will be a longer trail to East End. |

| no partners | | | Started out at 12:40pm. Pretty crowded and busy day on the trail. I am pretty sure most people turn back before the end because I didn't see too many people summit. That's a shame! |

| no partners | | | This was a great hike. The cairns are very helpful and plentiful, trail is not crowded and the workout is great. The view at the top toward the sheer cliffs along the ridge are great and the register has a lot of history in it. I wish I would have checked out Buster Spring. Next time... |

| no partners | | | I have now hiked this 3 times and I love it. Add an hour to your time if you bring someone who hasn't hiked in a while! HAHA! The view from the top is one of the most amazing I've seen...especially in the snow and clouds! |
