| no partners | | | The trail was as lovely as advertised; if you like to listen to creeks gurgling and brooks babbling, this is the trail for you. We started at 2:00 p.m., which meant that much of the hike was in the shade due to the steep walls of the gorge. That made for nice little interplays of sunlight and shadows. As of 10/9/11, only the maples had begun to change colors. |
