Had a great time driving up to Pueblo La Plata with Pete from The Friends of the Aqua Fria National Monument. This was part of the Archaeology Expo and was well worth the trip. Had to use a High Clearance Vehicle, though I would recommend a 4X4 if headed up when there is chance or has been rain. You can definitely see where the mud puddles are and some look impossible to get out of. It was a very short walk from the parking area to the ruins. This is a 80-90 room pueblo and has a ton of artifacts surrounding the area.
