**CANYON BOOTY REWARD READ BELOW**

Myself and three others decided to link up Bear and Sundance Canyon on our way up to Havasupai for our annual camping trip. I would like to say that driving on the Forest Roads is not recommended in a sedan. Bring a Jeep or Truck if you want to make it to the trailhead in under and hour. I've done it in both and my Jeep was 10000x more comfortable than the sedan we rode in the first time. After a little navigating we found ourself in the pine filled V shaped drainage and were attacked by mosquitoes. After showering in Deet we made our way down into Bear Canyon and started our descent!

The conditions were as explained in Todd's guidebook as well as the triplogs on here. Three easy rappels, couple swimmers and beautiful narrows!! There were no dead animals in any of the pools and the water wasn't that cold with a full 3mm wetsuit, gloves and socks. Overall this is an amazing canyon and highly recommended!

*** Canyon BOOTY Reward ***
After taking some pics after the last rappel I slipped and dropped my gold iphone 5C in a white and grey lifeproof case into the pool directly after the wooden stump that you have to climb over. The pool is approximately 10' long and very narrow and then it takes a short right and turns to about 1' deep. I searched for about 45 minutes in the shallower pool and I'm fairly certain it is not in there like I believed. As we were trying to hit Sundance as well I decided to forgo the icy plunge into the questionable water to search for it. I understand there are people that search for canyon booty and I would like to reach out and offer $50 for a solid attempt (verifiable with pics of the attempt) and $150 for a safe rescue of the iphone. If anyone would be interested you can contact me (on my gf's phone) at 702-622-1530. I will be uploading a picture of the exact pool that it fell into to assist the operation as well :)

We exited the canyon using the "Sneak Route" by exiting and taking a hard right once we exited the narrows. This definitely cut out a significant amount of time and wasn't a bad hike at all.
