Slept in the car, and started hiking around 5am in February to catch the sunrise. Despite there being several feet of snow, the trail was packed down and easy to follow. Frozen lakes and a gorgeous mountain and glacier views from the top of the trail. Coming down was trickier, and we landed up sliding on our bums a good chunk of the way for the fun of it!
