| no partners | | The superstitions in a rainstorm remind me of the tropics. Especially when things are very green in the springtime. Had a nice day hiking through clouds and scattered rain storms. Mist clung to the tips of the craggy mountains all day. Reavis creek had a good amount of flowing water, but the falls was a meager trickle. Admittedly I was a bit disappointed, given how much rain we've been getting this winter. Still a great hike. Didn't see another soul all day. Kept thinking how peaceful it would be to bring a sleeping bag and spend the night down at the confluence of Reavis Creek and the wash. Maybe someday |

Wildflowers Observation Moderate Lots of orange poppies in the first couple of miles. Not much in the way of wildflowers once I parted from the main trail |
