Great location for young hikers. Grandchildren 1.5, 3 and 5 had great time on rocks along creek. This area provides great creek access and a bit of the history of the lower Oak Creek farming. Great pictures of Cathedral Rock.

Did this trip about Nov 2010. I was not able to locate trail so bushwacked up. not a difficult walk and nice veiws from top. Got snowed on on the way out via the road east to highway 89.

Hiked into point where keeping feet dry would have been impossible. Started hike mid-morning (0900) and found trail not too busy. Great hike with lots to see. Great views of narrow canyon walls and rock scapes. It was cool in the shade but got warm in the sun on the way out. By the time of return to begining of trail it was getting pretty busy. I wonder why people start a hike at 1400 in 95 degree weather and in flip flops. LOL Enjoy all.
