The hike was exactly as described in your cover page for Mt Peeley. The 10 mile dirt road was a little bit of a white knuckle trip since I'm not used to back country, on the edge, driving. Piece of cake returning. Most of the hike was moderate with slight elevation and switchbacks. The trail was nearly washed away in several areas and grown over in others. The steep hike up to the summit, off the trail through the pines, was well described. If I hadn't noticed the "pile of rocks" near the trail I would have never made it to the top. It was well worth the climb. It was a spiritual, as well as physical, experience. :) Thanks for the information about Mt Peeley!
