I pulled the fire-prone Buffel Grass from North Mountain Preserve with 42 others this morning. No big hiking this trip, the stuff is right next to the trail up the mountain. The rain yesterday softened the dirt and it came out very easily, we collected well over 300 large garbage bags of it. Wrapped up about an hour earlier than expected due to a short but intense downpour which got us all pretty soaked. As always with VOAz, the food and organization was outstanding! The raffle passed me over this event but several people scored some great stuff.
