John, Greg and myself went out yesterday to go see the ruins, and the first thing that happened was a tree had fallen across 410 so we had to walk 3/4 mile or so extra to get the the 150 trailhead, after that the further we went the more chocked out the trail got. especially in the sunny areas the ground cover has exploded, and everything that was exploding was very serious thorns. we were starting to give blood. seeing as we still had a ways to go and no sign of when the jungle would stop we turned back. to save the day we went to Aztec peak to enjoy the views and finally we visited the workman creek ruins in the late afternoon. the last time I went to the ruins was in the winter so there was no problem following the trail. nice day though we still left with a smile on our faces.
