Hiked up the rim via the Sinkhole Trail, and the views up there were just awesome. The flora up there was beautiful too...wildflowers everywhere once you get on top!  Followed the top trail, but once I reach the unmarked campsite on the map (Mogollon CG) the trail actually died. I went to the forest ranger there, that was no help. I showed him where the fairly well marked trail came into the campground and asked him where it continued on west, and his response was "I don't know, there are so many trails all over this damned place". ](https://hikearizona.com/dex2/images/smilies/eusa_wall.gif "Brick wall") After several minutes of searching all over the west end of the CG, I decided to just go to the Rim Road and go west, then went through Carr Lake CG (not on the map, it's the spot on the map near where Rim Road 300 and TR 9350 intersect), and hike south through the CG to 9350, then followed 9350 west to the Drew 291 TH.
Probably shouldn't have added on the extra hike to the See Canyon TH, because once I got back to the intersection with Drew to do the final piece on the map it starting thundering, and then raining, and then hailing buckets of pea-sized hail. The hard rain and hail continued for the full 4.7 miles of that last piece of the trip. The trail soon became a full stream. 
Along this part I also ran into a nice bull elk with a full rack on it. We startled each other; he was maybe 200 yards from me, and he took off.
