Truly awesome backcountry destination. An April return visit with snow melt runoff is a must. Above ground flow from Dupont Spring to Salome Creek should be good in the spring. My April 2011 Dupont Rim hike revealed some incredible treasures in the lower canyon (see photo #8). A true wonderland overall and very unspoiled.
