Then picked up the Thicket Trail for about .3 tenths and then up the ridge and then over to the north side. Cliffed out a couple of times and then noticed 3 faint cairns just before hitting a saddle which I had never been on. It had a fire ring and an old can. Went down to the divide trail and used a quart of my old cache to wash my blackened hands. Followed the divide trail to Thicket and then off trail into a new canyon. The west fork was really cool and I only had to bypass one waterfall. West Fork eventually joined 25a and then went past Cornucopia and out the same way I came in. Going thru the canyon in the dark was cool. It was a fun but tough day. Wore my helmet most of the time on the north side and it was very warm.
Someone TP'ed my car and left their calling card . |
