The Mount Nebo Trail is a rugged wilderness trail that leads to the south summit of Mount Nebo. The trail begins with a series of switchbacks leading up to the ridge's top. Here, the trail meets Willow Canyon Trail, No. 118. From this point, the trail turns to the north and follows the main ridge up to the south summit of Mount Nebo. The upper portion of this trail is somewhat rough and narrow. It is recommended that horses not be taken past the junction with the Willow Canyon Trail. Be advised that a trip to the top of Mount Nebo and back will take a full day. Be prepared for cold and inclement weather which can occur at these elevations even in mid-summer.
