Overview
Five miles of trails in the park let you stretch your muscles and view the wildlife.


The Mariah Mesa Nature Trail is 0.75 miles and has interruptive signage along the way. The rest of the trails in the park are paths that connect the campgrounds and day-use areas together and loop the lake.

    From Safford at the US-70&191 junction, head South on US-191 for 5.3 miles. Turn left at W Roper Lake Rd and take for .5 mile, turn right into park entrance.
