Overview
Sand Wash Trail #81 is a 2.53 mile one way hike with 910 feet elevation gain. Located 66 miles north-northeast of Alamogordo New Mexico. September and May are the best months to enjoy this hike.


It begins at Forest Road 483 and ends at Forest Road 9027A. The trail is open for the following uses: Hiking, Horseback Riding, Mountain Biking, Motorcycle Trail Riding, Off Highway Vehicles (OHV) less than or equal to 50 inches wide.
