The trail from Eagle Ridge Trailhead to Sierra Canyon Trailhead is 4.3 miles. A nice Jeffrey Pine & White Fir tree canopy covers most of the first 4.3 miles. You'll encounter 12 switchbacks going up & another 22 switchbacks coming back down. Shortly after the last switchback, you'll come to a bridge over a creek which is your last water source. Once past the Sierra Canyon Trailhead, you'll be hiking on gravel roads, then paved roads back to the Eagle Ridge Trailhead for a distance of 1.7 miles. Be RESPECTFUL of the PRIVATE PROPERTY on both sides of the gravel road (Centennial Drive) which connects to a paved road (Eagle Ridge Drive); turn up Timberline Road, past the water storage tank to where you parked.
