This trail is moderate for hiking. The elevation starts at 8,720 feet at trailhead and tops out at 11,500 feet a gain in elevation of 2,780 feet. This motorized trail is open to motorcycles. No ATV's.

    The Snowslide Trail has two access points.
    The first is 8 miles Northwest of Rye on State Highway 165 at Lake Isabel Recreation area on Forest Service Road # 376.
    The second access is located off of Forest Service Road # 360, then Forest Service Road # 352.
