Overview
Levy-Krier Trail #1392 is a 4 mile one way hike with 382 feet accumulated elevation gain. Located 31 miles west-northwest of Trinidad Colorado. September and June are the best months to enjoy this hike.


Formally the Wade Trail. Trail is vague in places and it dead ends at private property at mile 3. Return to West Peak Trail. The trail is moderate for hiking.Views to North and to West. Many dike walls to view.

    To hike
    Take the SH #12 from La Veta, Colo. To Cucharas Pass, (approximately 16 miles) turn left onto County Rd 46. Travel 6 miles to summit of Cordova Pass. At the trailhead go ½ mi. on the West Peak Trail to a fork and take the left trail.
